Acer Confirms Aspire 5738DG 3D Laptop

Acer has confirmed the release of the company's first laptop which supports 3D Vision. The Acer Aspire 5738DG uses Nvidia's 3D system hardware and glasses.
The 15.6-inch laptop is based on Intel Core 2 duo T6600 2.20GHz processor with up to 4GB system storage and a 320GB hard disk. Graphics are powered by an ATI Radeon HD 4570 card with 512MB of dedicated memory that should give silky smooth gaming experience at the 1366x768 native resolution. The included TriDef 3D screen has enough refresh rate (usually 120Hz) to drive the 3D glasses. The default OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. There is a multi-format card reader, Wi-Fi b/g/n, four USB 2.0 ports, Dolby optimized stereo speakers, webcam and a DVD burner.
The laptop is powered by a 6-cell 4400mAh battery and the system weighs 6.16lbs. The Acer Aspire 5738DG is available for retail at a starting price of $799.99
