Acer's AOD250 Netbook Dual Booting Android, XP, Now Official

This netbook from Acer will allow users to boot with Google's Android OS, enabling unique features. If anyone is looking to see the Android OS in action for themselves, this netbook provides an excellent and affordable way.

The Android OS will primarily allow users to save time with "instant on" capabilities. According to the press release,

"Designed specifically for mobile devices and applications, Android allows the Aspire One netbook to boot up and shut down quickly with “instant on” Internet connectivity, saving time and boosting productivity"

After that the 10.1" AOD250 is a fairly standard netbook, featuring an Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, and 160GB HDD. The weight is 2.79lbs, and the cost will be $349.99.
