Acer Unveils 1420P Convertible Tablet

Acer has unveiled their new convertible tablet/notebook dubbed Aspire 1420P. It's based on the Intel CULV processor and a flexible multi-touch display with increased battery life.
The laptop is based on Intel GS45 chipset with Intel Celeron CULV processor at its heart. It can support up to 8GB DDR2 memory and a 320GB hard disk. It has an 11.6-inch LED backlit display which runs at 1,366x768 resolution and gives 200-nits bright colors. It is also multi-touch capable and supports finger and pen input. Graphics is powered by Intel GMA X4500MHD integrated chipset which support HD video offloading. It includes three USB ports, HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g/n, WWAN 3G, Bluetooth and Kensington lock. The laptop is available in Diamond Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colors.
The Acer Aspire 1420P comes with a 6-cell 5600mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of battery runtime. It weighs 3.80lbs and comes with Windows 7 OS. However, details regarding price and release date are still hidden.
