ASUS Announces N61 and N71 Multimedia Notebooks

ASUS has released updates to its multimedia N-series family in the form of the N61 and N71. Expect better sound to go along with the already excellent set of features.

The most notable new improvement is in the speakers. Both notebooks will utilize ASUS' SonicMaster technology, which makes use of a paper-foam cone design. This technique creates improvement in sound quality across a number of audio ranges, and in tandem with Altec Lansing speakers in SRS Premium Sound should provide a fantastic audio experience.

Both notebooks can also come packed with some impressive other specs. Each can include an Intel Core 2 Duo or an Intel Core 2 Quad for a CPU, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD, and an 1GB NVidia GeForce GT 240M or GT 220M. Of course, they also come with Blu-ray. Resolution is 1366 x 768 on both, and pricing and availability is not yet known. Page:1/1
