Asus Announces UL-series Thin and Light Notebooks

Asus has introduced the UL-series of thin and light laptops which will use Turbo33 technology developed exclusive by Asus. The new technology will allow the notebooks to deliver 30% more processing power while extending the battery life to up to 12 hours.
The UL-series notebooks will be made up of a brushed Aluminum chassis which is almost an inch thick and weighs around three pounds. The laptops will be equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz CULV processor. The new platform will also be able to switch between integrated and discrete graphics depending on processing and energy savings requirements. The laptops are expected to use a Nvidia Geforce 210M discrete graphics with 512MB memory. However, information regarding release date and pricing is not yet released.
