November 09, 2009 at 11:11:24 PM, by Daniel Shain
AT&T has introduced a new USB connection for accessing its wireless network. The new hardware will be capable of running at the high speed of 7.2Mbps.
The USBConnect Lightning features a swiveling USB connector, which should enable it to fit into even the smaller port configurations. It will be available for free (after rebate) with a contract on November 22nd. AT&T plans to roll out its 7.2Mbps service in a number of major metropolitan areas by the end of the year.
