Corsair Ships High-Performance 256GB Solid-State Drive

The MLC-based Corsair P256 SSD features a Samsung controller & 128MB cache memory.
Corsair has announced the launch of high-performance 256GB Solid-State Drive (SSD). The P256 uses Samsung MLC flash memory and a Samsung Controller IC, coupled with 128MB of super-fast cache memory to deliver read speeds of up to 220MB/s and write speeds of up to 200MB/s.
Corsair claims that the new 2.5" P256 SSD for laptops provides 25% longer battery life. It's also more durable and has a life expectancy of over 100 years and impact resistance up to 1500Gs.
