Dell has introduced a netbook based on Intel's Moblin platform, the Mini 10v. The Ubuntu Remix Edition netbook is available for developers with core Moblin specifications.
The netbook comes with an Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz processor along with 1GB RAM and a 160GB Hard disk. Canonical is responsible for the integration of the core moblin version 2.0 interface, libraries and application with Ubuntu Linux 9.04 for the creation of a new Ubuntu Linux Remix distribution. This new technology is aimed at developers but general customers can also order the new Mini 10v from Dell's website. The complete specifications of the moblin 2.0 platform can be seen here.
You can also convert your current netbook to moblin 2.0 by downloading and following instructions for the Dell moblin image available on their Wiki. However driver support for netbooks other than Dell Mini 10v is not guaranteed. The Dell Mini 10v Moblin Edition can be ordered directly from Dell's website for $299.
