Dell releases Latitude XT2 XFR Rugged Tablet

Dell has released their new convertible rugged tablet dubbed Latitude XT2 XFR. The 12.1-inch tablet is the rugged version of the existing Latitude XT2 Laptop.
The rugged tablet comes with a LED backlit multi-touch screen and comes with Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 1.60GHz processor. It has option for up to 5GB DDR3 RAM and a SSD or standard hard drive. The machine is made to meet the MIL-810G certification and includes the quad cool thermal management system which allows it to operate in a temperature range of minus 10 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It has option of hot swappable modules including GPS, 3G modem, webcam, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
The tablet comes with 4, 6 or 9 cell battery and weighs 5.4lbs with just 1.5 inch thickness. It's available for retail from today for a starting price of $3,599.
