Dell to Release Z Series laptops with CULV Processors

Dell has announced new 14z and 15z models which will use Intel's CULV processors. The laptops will come with ultra low power Core 2 Duo processors which will increase the battery life of the notebooks.
The laptops will offer a processor range up to an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.40 GHz CPU and are based on Intel 4-series chipset with GMA X4500MHD onboard graphics. The 14z variants will come with a 14-inch display and the 15z will be equipped with a 15.6-inch LCD with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768. There will be an option of up to 8GB DDR3 RAM and 500GB Hard disk along with Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 1.3 MP Webcam, and a 7-in-1 card reader.
The 4-cell battery is advertised to produce 4 hours, whereas 6-cell batteries will manage up to 8 hours of battery runtime. There's also the option for express charge batteries which can charge up to 80% within one hour. The price of these laptops ranges between $599 and $1,034 depending on installed components.
