AMD has provided Laptop Logic with information regarding the latest Socket S1 Sempron mobile processors.
A little over two months ago, AMD launched its new mobile platform under the Turion 64 X2, but there was no mention of new Mobile Semprons.
With Socket 754 mobile CPU's at End of Life, AMD needed a replacement single-core, budget CPU for the mobile platform. New Socket S1-flavor Mobile Semprons are up to the task, bringing even lower prices to AMD-based notebooks. With a DTR-oriented Mobile Athlon 64 X2 4600+ and single core Turion 64 MK-36 on the way for the new platform, AMD is really diversifying their mobile lineup. The configurations and prices of the S1-based Mobile Semprons are as follows:
| Mobile Sempron | Socket | Clock Speed | HTT Bus | L2 Cache | 64-bit | TDP | Price |
| 3200+ | S1 | 1.6GHz | 800MHz | 512KB | Yes | 25W | $107 |
| 3400+ | S1 | 1.8GHz | 800MHz | 256KB | Yes | 25W | $134 |
| 3500+ | S1 | 1.8GHz | 800MHz | 512KB | Yes | 25W | $142 |
