FCC Approves Toshiba 1089 AKA Microsoft Zune

A portable media device identified as a Toshiba 1089 looks much like the Microsoft Zune. Maybe because it is.

It fact it IS the Microsoft Zune. Toshiba is the hardware maker of Microsoft's upcoming portable media player.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website unveiled the Toshiba 1089 equipped with a large 3-inch LCD display. It also sports 1.8-inch 30GB hard drive, USB 2.0 to tranfser files, and built-in FM tuner.

The best part of it, well as you already know from previous reports, that the Zune or Toshiba 1089 comes with wireless 802.11b/g. This enables authorized users like friends to sync up and listen to what you're playing on the Zune!
