Lenovo Announces ThinkPad T60 Widescreen Notebook

Lenovo's flagship ThinkPad notebook - the T60 is finally available in widescreen.
Weighing 5.1 pounds, the ThinkPad T60 widescreen is the lightest 15.4-inch widescreen notebook among the top five PC vendors, according to Lenovo. It also measures 1.1-inch thin and can last up to 6 hours with standard 6-cell battery according to Lenovo.
Widescreen is becoming more popular among business users and consumers since it offers more screen real estate. The T60 widescreen offers 30 percent more data on the screen than a 14.-inch display. Lenovo also mentioned the 14.1-inch standard display has the same height as the 15.4-inch widescreen display, but more screen size and all the benefits of widescreen.
Users can choose between standard WXGA resolution screen or the high resolution WSXGA+ screen. The ThinkPad T60 widescreen features integrated 3G WWAN on Cingular or Verizon networks, Wireless-N, and Bluetooth.
It's also equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo, ATI Mobility Radeon X1500 with 128MB, and can support up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM.

The ThinkPad T60 is also available as a mobile workstation.
