Dell Launches its First Rugged Notebook

Latitude ATG D620 designed for military standards.
Dell today announced the Latitude ATG D620 (All Terrain Grade), its first semi-rugged notebook for customers who work in tough environments.
The notebook challenges Panasonic's Toughbook line, with the Latitude ATG meeting military standards for vibration, humidity and altitude and is designed to protect against accidental bumps, and moisture.
The notebook features a shock-mounted hard drive, spill-resistant keyboard, port covers, and durable paint.
Dell aims to sell this notebook line to military, construction, police and emergency organizations.
