Creative\'s X-Fi Sound solutions will soon be available for notebooks via ExpressCard.
The wait has been long for the inclusion of notebook solutions in Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Family.
Finally, Creative has introduced its newer sound solutions in the form of the Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Audio Notebook which comes in the Express Card variant. This now replaces the company's current flagship sound card - Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook. It was based on the PCMCIA interface, but creative has now decided to switch to ExpressCard solutions owing to its superior performance and wide-acceptance in recent notebooks.

The Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Audio Notebook comes in ExpressCard interface only. It features Sound Blaster X-Fi Processing - 10,000+ MIPS, 136dB SNR Processing Quality and Xtreme Fidelity Audio Enhancement for unmatched sound experience on the move. The card also features optical out/in jacks and a port for the breakout box to connect your speakers.
Creative has not yet announced the official specifications, release date, pricing and availability on the Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Audio Notebook.
