Nokia has officially unveiled the 8600 Luna cell phone. The Luna has been crafted to offer uniqueness and prestige to users by the use of chrome, stainless steel, titanium along with glass!
The elegance of the Luna comes primarily from the transparent smoked glass sliding mechanism that keeps the keypad visible even when the phone is closed. Nokia 8600 has been named in the honor of Luna - the goddess of moonlight, often represented by the Romans as a mysteriously captivating beauty encircled in a soft, yet radiant light.

On the specs front, Nokia 8600 is a quad-band GSM cellphone running on Symbian S40 platform. It weight in 143g, provides stand-by and talk time of 10 days and 3h 40 mins respectively. The display is a 240x320 pixel offering 16-million colors. A 2-Megapixel camera which is also capable of recording videos is QCIF(176x144) & SQCIF(128x96) has been packed in. It is the first Nokia cell phone to feature a MicroUSB port for charging, audio and data connectivity from the same port. But at the end of the day, you buy the Luna entirely for the looks!
