OLPC Used to View Porn?!

July 20, 2007 at 08:23:00 AM, by Thai Tan Rating: 0 out of 5

No one anticipated this would happen?

Reports have surfaced that children in Nigeria using laptops provided by the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) initiative were being used to surf pornographic websites.

While this may be the "LOL of the Day" for some (I know it was for me), why was this never anticipated? No one ever thought kids may go to pr0n sites?

Representatives from the OLPC initiative said that new revisions would be fitted with web filters.
