Reports indicate mobile GeForce 8800 GPU may get announced soon.

Currently, GeForce 8700M GT is the flagship GPU belonging to the Nvidia GeForce 8-series for notebooks.

According to reports, Dell will soon introduce a high-end gaming notebook featuring the highly anticipated and powerful mobility Geforce 8800 GPU.

A 'high-end gaming notebook from Dell' obviously means an XPS Laptop. Its been a while since the Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT was announced, so it's very likely the GeForce 8800M was under works all this time.

If these reports are indeed true, the XPS M1730 laptop could indeed be what the above story hint. Time will tell as always...An update to the hi-end XPS laptop is only a matter of time! A simple search on Dell.com for M1730 also suggests the same!
