If a lock won\'t work, maybe humiliating accountability will.
We're all worried about losing those we love.
By that, I mean your laptop, which has all your music, videos, and perhaps photos of loved ones.
Sure, a lock can help prevent laptop theft, but laptops are usually stolen in public places, which is where this alarm comes in.
Here's the deal. if someone cuts or disconnects the alarm from the laptop, this baby is going off. It also wraps around a secure object so you can't just walk off with the laptop and alarm.
Priced at around $25, it's not a bad investment.
My idea for a deterrent? Run an electric shock through the laptop casing, preventing a would-be thief from maintaining the coordination to get your treasure through the door. Sure, you might lose some data or fry the laptop, but damn, it'd be satisfying.
