Record in High-Def for a mere $150.
That's right.
While DXG is known for their low-cast products, and we appluad stiff competition, sometimes prices get so low that you can't help but wonder what they took out.
The camcorder records in H.264 quicktime files at 1280 x 720, and has the wherewithal to manage 5 MP photos.
The camcorder manages 30 fps at 1280 x 720, although can also run 710 x 480 at the same rate. The DXG-566V sports 32 GB of internal memory, although you'd probably want to go with a SD/SDHC if you're filming anything substantial.
The digicam features 2x digital zoom, a 3.0-inch TFT display, and a 5 MP CMOS sensor for those still we talked about. There's also a USB 2.0 port for file transfer.

No optical zoom, so you're really going to have to set the stage for your cat that you dress up and force to dance.
Between that and pr0n, you have to wonder what else this camcorder is capable of handling.
