Dell XPS M1330 Pre-loaded with Ubuntu Now Available for U.S. buyers

First Linux equipped XPS notebook goes on sale in the U.S.
Keeping their promise, Dell US is now offering XPS M1330n laptops pre-loaded with Ubuntu 7.10 Linux OS. These laptops were first introduced in the European market a week ago. The demand for Linux has been enormous and this has forced Dell to extend its Linux offerings to their premium XPS range of products.
The U.S. version of XPS M1330 pre-loaded with Ubuntu comes in Tuxedo Black lid color only. It also lacks options such as 64GB SSD and 320GB HDD.

The starting price of this XPS M1330 laptop is $954 and it features the following hardware specs: (customization options available)
- Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 (2MB cache/1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB)
- Ubuntu Linux version 7.10 with DVD Playback
- Standard Display with 2.0 Megapixel Webcam

- CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW Drive)
