HP\'s Eee PC killer on sale now starting at just $499.
This didn't take long, did it? HP's 2133 "mini-note" sub-notebook is now available for purchase to buyers in the U.S. for as low as $499, just like HP told us.
The entry-level HP 2133 packs in a 4GB NAND flash module for storage (similar to the first-generation of Eee PCs). The $749 model is the most value for money as it comes pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit edition and is powered by 1.6GHz VIA C7-M CPU, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 120GB 7200RPM HDD, 8.9-inch WXGA LCD, VIA Chrome 9 graphics, VGA Camera, 802.11a/b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. Not bad at all. Very good, infact.
