ASUS Eee PC 900 Now Available for Pre-order in the U.S.

The U.S. gets lucky with the availability of much-awaited 9-inch Eee PC after Hong Kong & the UK.
Good news for U.S. residents, as you can now pre-order the long-awaited and second generation Eee PC from their North American HQ starting from today. Both Linux and Microsoft Windows operation system will be available for pre-order.
The new Eee PCs feature improved specs in the same less than 1kg package. The new 8.9-inch (1024 x 600) is equipped with a 1.3 Mega Pixel webcam, 1GB of memory, and has a FigerGlide feature which enables users to zoom in and out of pictures with simple finger movement.
The ASUS Eee PC 900 will officially become available in the US from May 12th.
Most leading online retailers are now accepting pre-orders for $549.99 ASUS Eee PC 900 for both Linux and Win XP flavors.
