Weighing under 4lbs, these powerful notebooks are very portable.
The Lifebook S6310 and S6311 are small, powerful, and won't be released in the U.S.
Yes, unfortunately the sexy new Fujitsu notebooks aren't bound for U.S. shores just yet. We've always loved the design of Fujitsu notebooks, like the Lifebook N3510 and Lifebook P7010, and found they were chock full of quality.
These new 13.3" XGA (1024x768) notebooks feature Intel's Core Duo T2300 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB) processor, Intel 3945ABG wireless, 945GM Express chipset, Dual Layer DVD Super Multi Writer, 512MB DDR2 667, 80GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, and Bluetooth 2.0. The only difference in the two models is the screen; the S6311 features a "SuperFine" screen rated at 300 lumens brightness. Prices of these models in U.S. currency are $2,033 for the S6310 and $2,126 for the S6311.

Of course it's delayed. Knowing VIA and their POS CPU's, they're still trying to figure out how to run basic x86 operations. Give it up VIA, Intel has the upper hand here and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
