So, if Mossberg's comments are "well ahead of the official announcement", when is the official announcement? As for a SSD 64GB drive being "paltry", I don't agree. They may not be worth buying right now, since 128GB will soon be the same price as 64GB, etc. and the write times may be slower, even though the reads are fast, but 64GB would take care of most people's needs in a model that bridges the gap between thin-and-light and ultraportable, IMHO. I have a 100GB drive in my T60, and haven't used more than 64GB at any one time.
