ATI teams up with Asus to deliver new HDMI W1J laptop.

Graphics maker ATI Technologies announced today the new Asus W1J laptop will use the Mobility Radeon X1600 to support HDMI output.

ATI's Mobility Radeon 1600 graphics card will enable high definition via W1J's HDMI connectivity features. The Asus W1J is one of the first laptops to offer HDMI. HDMI is used in DVD players, set-top box, A/V receivers and digital TV to deliver both high definition video and audio via a single cable.
