Windows Vista Beta 2 Now Available To The Public

Now everyone can download the latest version of Vista.
Those who have been clamoring to try Vista, but didn't have an MSDN subscription or want to hassle with illegal copies, can now get their very own legal version!
Last night Microsoft launched the public availability of Windows Vista Beta 2. We have all the information you need to get your copy, although it may take a while. Even last night download servers were overloaded and now the page with links to the downloads isn't available.
A download manager is highly recommended for these downloads, as each one is over 3GB in size. If you can get to the main Vista Public Beta 2 Download Page, it has a download manager available that will load from the web page itself. However while that manager can resume broken downloads, it does not automatically do so. You have to respond to an error prompt to continue, so we recommend acquiring your own download manager. Simply follow these easy steps to get your own copy of Vista Beta 2:
- Register for your Vista Public Beta 2 CD key here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx
- You need a Windows Live, Passport, or Hotmail ID to login. You can create one for free if you do not have it.
- Check your e-mail for a confirmation link, then you will receive a list of download sites and your unique CD key.
- You can register for two unique CD keys, and each key can be used for up to 10 PCs.

When you do finally get this downloaded, head over to our forums and participate in the Vista Public Beta 2 Discussion Thread! Share your thoughts and experiences there, we will be as well!
