Gateway introduces LT2000 netbook

Gateway has announced another netbook having Intel Atom N270 CPU and a 10.1” TFT LED-backlit display.
Previously Gateway released the LT3100 netbook which has AMD 1.2GHz Athlon processor in it. To target more users, Gateway has released a new netbook replacing the AMD processor with Intel's Atom processor. The netbook comes with following specs:
- Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.60GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache)
- Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Home (Service Pack 3)
- 10.1-inch WSVGA 16:9 ratio TFT LCD (1024x600 resolution)
- Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express Chipset
- 1024MB DDR2 533 MHz SDRAM
- 160GB SATA 5400RPM Hard Drive
- Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950
- Card Reader, Wi-Fi, Web Camera
- Two Built-in Stereo Speakers
- Three USB 2.0 Ports
- 3-cell Li-ion Battery
- Weight: 2.62 lbs.
- Dimensions: 10.17 (w) x 7.24 (D) x 1.03 inches (H)
The screen size has been reduced as the previous model has 11.6" of screen. And instead of Integrated ATI Radeon™ X1270 Graphics, this one has integrated Intel Graphics. The battery is also reduced to 3 cells from 6 cells, as well as the retail price from $399 to $299.
