HP's 18.4-inch HDX18t Multimedia Notebook PC Now Available

Following the 16" HDX16t, the flagship HDX now goes on sale starting at $1,550.
You've known about them for some time and now the 18.4" monster (dragon?) finally starts shipping.
Featuring Centrino 2 technology, the HDX18t can be configured with up to 2.53GHz Core 2 Quad QX9300 GPU, 4GB DDR2 RAM and 640GB storage (dual 320GB HDDs). The HDX18t also comes default with 512MB GeForce 9600M GT graphics, 18.4" 1080p UltraBrightview Infinity LCD, Blu-ray ROM with SuperDrive, color matching keyboard, Webcam, 8-cell battery and Fingerprint Reader.
In other features, you'd find four speakers with built-in sub-woofer, HDMI and VGA video connectivity, four USB 2.0 ports (one is eSATA combo port), ExpressCard slot, full-size keyboard with numeric keypad on its titanium "liquid metallic" 9lbs chassis.
HP is now accepting orders and range starts at $1,549.99 with expected delivery in just 2 weeks.
