HP Introduces The HDX16 and HDX18 Laptops

HP has launched two new laptops, the HDX16 16", and the HDX18 18.4".
HP has introduced two new laptops to their catelog, the widescreen HDX16 and HDX18.
These two laptops both feature widescreen displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both use an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processors, have 4GB of DDR2 RAM, integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, and NVIDIA GeForce 9600M graphics.
The HDX16 has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels at 16", while the HDX18 has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 18.4". The HDX18 also has an extra 180GB in HDD storage space.
The best part of these two laptops? The entertainment features. If you're a media junkie, these machines are sure to catch your attention.
The HDX laptops feature a 55% wider viewing angle over your average notebook, upscale standard-def DVDs to HD, and sport a bass subwoofer (no mention of shocks to keep the thing rattling).
The HDX16 will be available in a couple weeks for $1299, as will the HDX18 for a price of $1349.
