HP Joins Core i7 Party

The new HP Pavilion dv8 will be HP's Core i7 offering. The large multimedia notebook will be packing some serious features.
The HP Pavilion dv8 will is an 18.4" entertainment notebook, featuring a full HD 1920x1080 resolution. The CPU will be an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz, and it will go along with a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 230 GPU. Other key features include up to 8GB RAM, 640GB HDD space, and Blu-ray.The Pavilion dv8 will also sport an integrated webcam, fingerprint reader, 802.11n and Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, 4USB ports, a USB/eSATA port, FireWire, ExpressCard, and a multicard reader. It will also run Windows 7 and weigh just under 9lbs.
Pricing and availability are unknown, as the product page at this time simply reads "coming soon". However, a leaked spec sheet has appeared to give us those details.
