ii-View has rolled out their new A2 12.1-inch netbook which offers better than average specifications and Windows 7 support with a low price tag.

The new netbook includes Intel's Atom N270 1.60GHz processor with 2GB RAM and up to 320GB hard disk. There is a 12.1-inch LCD with 1366x768 screen resolution. These specifications are a little better than average netbook and the larger screen lets it have a full sized keyboard. There is Wi-Fi b/g/n, webcam, multi-touch trackpad, 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI port and two USB 2.0 ports. The netbook comes with Windows 7 OS.

ii-View A2 comes with a 6-cell battery which is good enough for more than 3 hours runtime. It weighs 3lbs and priced at $399 with 2 years warranty.

Tech words explained

"Clock Frequency"
This term refers to the speed of the computer component. Clock frequency uses “hertz” (Hz) as its base unit. Note that 1 Megahertz (MHz) refers to 1,000,000 hertz, while 1 Gigahertz (GHz) refers to 1,000 MHz. This number refers to the number of cycles the CPU can process per second. Hertz refers to the number of cycles per second the CPU operates at, similar to how a car engine runs at different RPM’s (Revolutions per Minute). Faster clock frequency usually suggests faster performance, but some processors and their components are designed to do more “work” every cycle.
