Intel Debuts Mobile Core i7 Platform

The first ever Core i7 CPUs designed for use in laptops, these new "Clarksfield" processors are set to launch with several major OEMs immediately.
Among other improvements, the chips will offer Intel Turbo Boost technology, which will accelerate the CPU clock speed. They will feature new Hyper-Threading capabilities, and will support DDR3 1333MHz memory.
ASUS, Dell, HP and Toshiba are expected to release laptops featuring these chips immediately.
