Kingston Releases New SSDNow V+ Drives

The new Kingston SSDNow V+ solid state drives have more than twice the peak read/write performance of previous models.
Kingston has upgraded its SSDs yet again and now boasts some impressive speeds. The read performance peaks out at about 220MB per second, and write speeds notch an also impressive 180MB per second. Previous speeds were 100MB per second and 80MB per second, respectively.The drives are also available in larger sizes, with a 256GB drive now added to the mix. The drives can be connected to both SATA and SATA II interfaces, and are available immediately. Pick up a 64GB for $254, a 128GB for $500 and a 256GB for $992.
