Lenovo Debuts ThinkPad Edge Notebooks

These notebooks are geared towards small business users and offer affordability along with portability due to AMD options as well as Intel.

The 13" Edge notebooks now available will feature a 1366x768 LED backlit resolution and either Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon Neo X2 CPUs. The AMD chips will be paired with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 for graphics, while the Intel offering will use GMA 4500MHD.

Both versions of the laptop will have up to 4GB RAM, a 320GB HDD, 802.11n and optional Bluetooth/3G connectivity. They will run Windows 7 Professional and offer just under 8 hours of battery life while weighing in at 3.6lbs. The base price for the AMD model is $579, while the Intel model starts at $799.
