The Mobii Ion 230 by Point of View is a netbook based on Nvidia Ion Platform.
This new netbook is based on Intel Atom 230 processor compared to N270/N280 processors used in most netbooks. The Atom 230 is mostly a choice of companies for making nettops.
The netbook is equipped with 10.2 inches screen. The onboard DirectX 10 capable Nvidia Ion GPU powers the LED display at 1024x600 native resolution. Due to the onboard graphics, the netbook can fluently decode 1080p HD media content. What's more, Point of View Mobii Ion 230 holds an HDMI port from which the media can be played on an external LCD TV.
