MSI Officially Announces X-Slim X400 Notebooks

One of the slimmest 14-inch laptops around weighing just 1.5kg with the 4-cell battery pack.
MSI has detailed their new 14-inch X-Slim X400 Notebook based on Intel's CULV platform. The ultra-slim X400 features white interiors, personalized color bezels and a glossy finish.
Based on Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage platform, the X-Slim X400 Notebooks will be powered by Intel CULV processor, GS45 chipset and GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics. Its 14-inch screen has a 16:9 display with 1366 x 768 resolution. It supports up to 2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM with optional support for external DVD burner / Blu-ray drive & Bluetooth. MSI also offers an HDMI port, 1.3MP Webcam, 2-in-1 Card reader, 802.11n WiFi, Gigabit LAN, VGA output and up to 500GB Hard Drive.
With the 4-cell battery, the MSI X400 weighs 1.5kg. An optional 8-cell battery pack can provide up to 9 hours of battery life (claimed). No pricing or availability information has been revealed.
