MSI Wind U110 ECO Now Available

The Wind U110 ECO matches up well with what you'd expect from a standard netbook, except that it also boasts an excellent battery life without seeming to charge more for it.

MSI's Wind U110 comes with a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 CPU, 1GB RAM, GMA500 graphics and is currently sold with Windows XP (though it will presumably gain Windows 7 like everything else in late October). It also has Bluetooth/WiFi/Ethernet, an integrated webcam, 3 USB ports and a multi-card reader.

The most impressive feature, however is the battery. The 9-cell battery on the Wind U110 ECO is rated to last up to 15 hours. Even if it doesn't quite reach that lofty goal, that should still provide some impressive life.

The U110 ECO has been spotted at online retailers for $399.

    This seems like a great product for people who are always on the move, with the tremendous battery life. The price and size of the laptop makes it very affordable and convenient.
