This new 12" portable offering from MSI will come with the latest Windows operating system as well as an AMD Athlon Neo X2, a CPU that is superior to Intel's Atom.

The 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo X2 is a dual-core CPU that comes paired with ATI's Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics chipset, which is designed to make it better at handling high definition media than standard Intel Atom machines. Other specifications include a 1366x768 resolution, 160GB HDD (upgradable to 320GB), and 1GB RAM (upgradable to 4GB).

For connectivity, you will have HDMI, VGA, and 3 USB ports. Bluetooth and a 6-cell battery rated at 4 hours are optional, and the unit as a whole can weigh as little as 2.9lbs. Pricing and availability are not yet known.
