This new ultra-portable notebook is cheap and small.

Are you disappointed with the trend of not-so-cheap ultra-portables rising from the success of the Eee PC, sporting price tags in the $500 range?

If so, the Razorbook 400 Mini Notebook is sure to be appealing. Featuring a 7" display and full keyboard, the 400 Mini weighs less than 2lbs and is priced at a mere $299.

Aimed at students and travelers, the specs are modest - 512MB of DDR2 memory, internal 4GB SSD, 400MHz 32-bit single core Mobile Processor, integrated high-quality audio card, high-quality stereo speakers, and a high-capacity 2100mAh battery. It also sports internal WiFi and has 3 USB 2.0 ports.

The machine runs a version of Linux.
