Samsung Unveils X120, X420 and X520 Notebooks

Samsung is preparing to launch the X120, X420 and X520 Notebooks based on Intel CULV processors. The ultra light laptops are developed to present refined designs and easy portability.
The budget priced X120 ultraportable is powered by an Intel Celeron 1.60GHz processor with Intel GMA X4500MHD graphics. It includes 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It has an 11.6-inch LED Display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768. The laptop comes with a 4 or 6 cell battery and weighs 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
The Samsung X420 and X520 comes with an Intel Pentium Dual Core or Intel Core 2 duo based CULV processor, with up to 4 GB DDR3 RAM and a 320GB hard drive. Graphics are powered by an Intel GMA X4500MHD. The X420 variant comes with a 14-inch LED display and weighs around 3.88 lbs (1.76 kg), whereas the X520 is equipped with a 15.6-inch LED Display and weighs almost 4.5 lbs (2 KG). These laptops claim nearly 9 hours of runtime with the standard 6-cell battery.
All the laptops include an HDMI port, 3-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Webcam, Bluetooth 2.1 and Windows Vista Home Premium. The Samsung X120, X420 and X520 will be available in Europe from October for €599, €649 and €689 respectively.
