Toshiba Expands Personal Storage Line with 400GB External HDD

Adds a 400GB USB 2.0 portable hard drive to its storage line-up in Electric Blue and Black design.

Toshiba's new 400GB Portable hard drive joins the existing (and colorful) line of USB 2.0 Portable External HDDs available in 160GB, 250GB and 320GB capacities.

It features an internal shock sensor and ramp-loading technology to add extra protection to the drive and anti-slip footpads that help anchor the drive in place. Weighing just six ounces, the 400GB will feature sleek and highly-glossy Electric Blue and Black exteriors.

Availability:

Toshiba has revealed that the new 400GB unit (HDDR400E03X) in Electric Blue and Black will be available next month. Although the pricing hasn't been revealed, we do know that it will come pre-loaded with NTI Shadow software and a 3-year warranty.
