Most new laptops come with built-in webcams nowadays, but older laptops and certain business or entry models lack a webcam. That’s not a huge problem though, as it’s very easy to just purchase a webcam separately and hook it up through your laptop’s USB port.
An important factor to consider when using a webcam with your laptop is that it’s small and simple to attach to your laptop. One option is attaching it on top of the screen, but if that isn’t an option there are also snake-style webcams that you can stick into the USB port and point in any direction.
