Available in black, orange, and green for a suggested retail price of $99.95, the Laptop Sleeve is a pricy solution; however, it makes up for it in comfort, function, and design for your laptop and accessories.

Design - External

Portability
With dimensions of 16' x 12.5' x 2.5' and a weight of 2.3 pounds, the Laptop Sleeve is an exceptionally compact and lightweight case making it ideal to tote around with comfort and ease. For such a thin and lightweight case, users will have to sacrifice storage capacity therefore making it ideal for users who prefer to carry their notebook with only a few accessories. It also comes equipped with a very comfortable shoulder strap and a carry handle to accommodate both carrying options.

External
The Laptop Sleeve's exterior is constructed of a custom made synthetic polyurethane material uniquely developed by Incase. This material feels similar to leather and is very smooth and soft to touch.

Front

Although featured in this review in the color orange, the sleeve is also available in green and black.

Two exterior pockets reside on the exterior of the sleeve, located on the front and back for ease of access. Each pocket contains a zipper which can easily be tucked away to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the case.

Although the pocket on the back is almost full length, it is very thin and should primarily be used for documents. Within the front pocket are two smaller pockets which are composed of a nylon stretch material which can be used to separate accessories such as an AC adapter or a mobile mouse.

Back

The handle is padded with a soft grip and comprised of the same polyurethane material. It is very comfortable even when carrying the Sleeve for extended periods of time. The stitching is top notch and will guarantee safe transportation of your laptop and accessories.

The Sleeve also has high quality shoulder strap which is easily removed through a quick release button mechanism. The shoulder strap pad is constructed of a very soft, porous mesh material and also has several 'pill sized' rubber pads which prevent the shoulder pad from sliding away from the shoulder.

Since the Sleeve is comprised of a smooth material, it is more vulnerable to outside world than other carrying cases. To relieve some of the prospective damage to the bottom of the case, the Sleeve comes equipped with rubber molded feet that will protect it from daily wear and tear to some degree.

Design - Internal

The interior is housed by a single zipper which only zips down one-third the length of the entire case.

The PowerBook 15-inch is a perfect fit.

Upon opening, on the underside of the top flap are three 3-3/4' sleeves pockets which can be used to store credit cards, business cards, or a driver's license. There is also a small storage compartment with a Velcro cover to store pens, keys, or small accessories.

Directly underneath the storage compartment, lies the laptop compartment which measures in at 13-3/4' x 10-3/4' x 1-1/4'. The laptop compartment is composed of vinyl material and is protected by nearly an inch of cushioning foam along the perimeter. Although the Laptop Sleeve is designed for the PowerBook 15' + 12' / iBook 14' + 12', it will also be capable of housing PC laptops of comparable size such as the IBM ThinkPad T42.

Features

Detachable shoulder strap
Incase makes removing the shoulder strap a relative ease with its quick release button. However, unlike other cases which have detachable shoulder straps, Incase goes the extra mile to further its aesthetic appeal by concealing the shoulder strap lock slip within the case.
