Short Review: The Fast and Responsive LifeBook T5010 Notebook

The hunt for the best tablet pc out there might yield a couple of promising units, and it might be said that one of them could probably be the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer. This tablet computer brings together the ease of having a traditional notebook along with the versatility one would expect from a tablet pc. It has a really great 13.3 inch widescreen LCD display which allows you to view documents comfortably without squinting yet compact enough to fit in most of your bigger bags. Some of the best things about this are pleasant and surprising little touches, such as an integrated wireless access option, a built-in modular bay and a fully productive and functionally fast processor care of the Intel Centrino technology. Thanks to this assortment of features, accessing information anytime you need it is easy by using any method that you prefer to use.

Most tablet computers have high gloss screens that service as the active digitizer coating for touch sensitivity. This gloss then translates into washing out of screens in high exposure environments, as well as extra reflections. But surprisingly, the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer does not have a thick layer of gloss onto its LCD screen. Shiny it is at best, but not at all highly reflective and it certainly does not wash out in direct sunlight. Mobile warriors will rejoice upon knowing this, as reflections and wash outs and color bleeds are the common problems and dilemmas of those who frequently do their typing and computing work outside the office or the home.

Design

The Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer has a simple boxy design reminiscent of most laptops under the Fujitsu range. The Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer has a simple silver interior with matte white keyboard and black-framed LCD screen to boot. A discreet optical drive bay is found on the right side of the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer and makes a very smooth swooshing sound once it has been opened. A slot loading drive might have been a better option to keep the sleekness of the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer at a minimum, but perhaps doing so will contribute to a more expensive price tag.

• Great security features. Security on the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer is thanks to a Trusted Platform Module or TPM along with a Security Chip, a Fingerprint reader and a SmartCard reader as well.
• The easy to bring around dimensions. The Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer measures 12.6 inches width, 9.6 inches depth, 1.5 inches height and weighs only 4.9 pounds. With these kinds of specifications, you will not have a problem bringing this around with you!
• Responsive tablet commands. As far as tablet computers go, the Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 notebook computer has one of the best active digitizers in terms of responsiveness and accuracy of strokes. Handwriting recognition is far superior on this device compared to others, and the option to use your fingertips in lieu of a stylus is not as hard as it is with other devices.
