Sony’s VAIO laptops are usually easy to recognize, not only for the characteristic VAIO logo on the lid, but also for their eye-catching design. While it’s hard to find a really cheap VAIO laptop, Sony makes up for it with an in most cases exceptional build quality and some very innovative design choices. A clear statement starting with the ultraportable flagships TZ and Z is that VAIOs are meant to stand out from the crowd and, in Sony’s own words, are “notebooks that get noticed.”
