Competition Terms and Conditions -DELL laptop

  1. Terms and conditions for participation in [Laptoplogic’s] DELL laptop promotion (the “Competition”):
  2. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions or received after the closing date for the Competition will not be considered.
  3. The Promoter of this Competition is [Laptoplogic.com] (the ”Promoter”).
  4. There is no entry fee associated with this Competition.
  5. Entry to the Competition is only open to residents of the United States of America and Canada. The prize will be shipped only to addresses within the United States of America or Canada.
  6. The Competition opens on the 13th of February 2009 and closes at 24.00pm CET on the 8th of March 2009. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
  7. Individuals may only enter once.
  8. The draw will take place at the offices of Laptoplogic on the 12th of March 2009. The winner will be notified by mail.
  9. The prize is a DELL laptop valued at up to USD $450. The prize includes a DELL laptop Mini 9.
  10. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize.
  11. The Promoter may conduct further draws at the same time and place as the original draw if necessary in order to distribute the prize if unclaimed.
  12. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability and merchantability of any of the goods offered as prizes and accepts no responsibility for a variation in prize value.
  13. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, the Promoter (including its affiliates, officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage whatsoever suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion, including, but not limited to, the following:
    • a)any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction;
    • b)any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference;
    • c)any registration or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter
    • d)any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
    • e)any tax liability incurred by a winner; or
    • f)use of a prize.
  14. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion suspend, cancel or recommence the promotion if:
    • a)for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion; or
    • b)The determination of the prize winners or the delivery of the prizes is prevented or hindered by any outside agent or event including but not limited to vandalism, power failure, tempest, natural disaster, acts of God, civil unrest or strikes or other industrial action.
  15. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The name of the winner will be published on www.laptoplogic.com shortly after the draw. By entering into the Competition you agree that your personal information may be used for promotional purposes at the Promoter’s discretion.
